The Linji Huguo Chan Temple Complex was the Temple the famous Ven. Master Chin Kung (1927–2022) ordained as a monk in 1959. Master Chin Kung’s most important teachings were the continuation of the karmic teachings of 13th Patriarch Master Yin Guang (e.g. the Kan Ying Pien), the importance of giving, and the propagation of Upasaka Xia Lian Ju’s Infinite Life Sutra:
